Ambronite Reviewed!

When you are out on the trail, one of your biggest concerns is pack weight. One of the biggest sources of weight and one of the hardest things to pack is food. I think NASA had it right when it created Astronaut Ice Cream, something easily transportable that gets the job done calorie-wise. There are a lot of trail bars out there but what about trail meals?

Ambronite tries to solve these problems by creating a drinkable supermeal where basically you mix powder in a handy container

and that will give you all the nutrition that you will need for hours on the trail (or hours in a cubicle, however you roll).

The process is easy enough, you open the packet

Mix with water, shake well and viola instant meal! Shaking well is a key term as Ambronite is so chock full of stuff that it is really thick when added to water so make sure you add all 18.5 ounces that they recommend.

How does it ultimately taste/do?

On the do part, there is no question to me that you will feel full after drinking this and it did act as a meal that got me through part of the day. The taste however will be divisive. You either will love the oatmeal-y taste or you won't. I fell in the later category and as many benefits as this puppy packs, I can't see myself drinking this constantly on a multi-day backpack.

There is a lot to be said for Ambronite and perhaps if they introduce different flavors down the road, I might be more apt to try them again. If you are in the market for a drinkable meal, check out the link below.

I was provided Ambronite for review purposes. I do not receive any compensation from them or if you buy the product and I try to review products as even-handly as possible. That being said, this is the Internet, take everything with a grain of salt and learn from it what you can.
